Rock band Wasureranneyo (Hajime no Ippo: Rising) is performing the opening theme “Nanmonee,” which is previewed in the promotional video below. Necry Talkie (Kanojo mo Kanojo) is performing the ending theme “Kemuri to Blue.”
Taku Kimura (Studio Lemon) (Star Wars: Visions – Tatooine Rhapsody) is directing the anime at Bibury Animation Studios. Takashi Aoshima (Kakushigoto) is writing the script. Riki Matsuura (Chainsaw Man Movie: Reze-hen creature design) is designing the characters, while Keiichi Suzuki (Tokyo Godfathers) is composing the music.
Nyannyan Factory originally posted the comedy manga on X (formerly Twitter) in November 2022. Weekly Young Magazine began serializing the manga in February 2023. Kodansha published the 12th volume on May 20.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in February 2025 and released the second volume on March 17. The third volume is set to be released on June 16.
