Park originally began the action fantasy series as a web novel on Munpia from June to July in 2013, before halting for an official publication. The novel was officially serialized on Munpia in November 2014, and also ran on multiple other platforms such as KakaoPage from December 2014 until its completion in April 2024. Maru & Maya began publishing the novel series with illustrations by HABAN in January 2014, and released the 96th and final volume in December 2024.
Team Argo began drawing the webtoon adaptation on KakaoPage in April 2020.
Wuxiaworld and Tapas Media published the web novel digitally in English from October 2017 and September 2021, respectively. Tapas Media also began publishing the webtoon digitally in September 2021, and Yen Press licensed the series for physical release through their Ize Press imprint in April 2023. The sixth web novel volume went on sale March 24, and the tenth webtoon volume went on sale May 19.
Synopsis
Shin Youngwoo (a.k.a.
