The official website of the hip-hop group Home Made Kazoku announced on Tuesday that they are returning after a ten-year hiatus. The group has re-signed with Sony’s Ki/oon Music label.
Home Made Kazoku consists of members Micro, Kuro, and DJ U-Ichi and originally formed in 1996 under a different name before adopting their current name in 2001. They made their major debut in 2004 with the mini-album Oooh! Yeah! under the Ki/oon Music label.
In August 2016, the band announced that they would go on an indefinite hiatus by the end of the year to “grow individually and take on new challenges” and pursue solo careers. On April 19, the band announced they would participate in four events in Summer 2026.
