Voice actors Ryouta Oosaka (Hataraku Maou-sama!) and Yumiri Hanamori (Jigokuraku) and are joining the cast as Blardo Landon and Samantha Tempest, respectively.
Music group SIX LOUNGE (Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen – Soukoku-tan) is performing the opening theme “Sayonara Janai Hou ga Ii.” Idol group 22/7 (Fuguushoku “Kanteishi” ga Jitsu wa Saikyou Datta) is performing the ending theme “Futatsu no Michi.” The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
The first season aired in 12 episodes in Spring 2025. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime worldwide (excluding Asia) with subtitles and subsequently with an English dub, as well as a French dub.
Keitarou Motonaga (Hametsu no Oukoku) returns to direct the second season at Studio A-CAT. Other returning staff include series composer Takamitsu Kouno (Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu), character designer Masami Sueoka (Maougun Saikyou no Majutsushi wa Ningen datta), music composer Keiji Inai (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka).
The webtoon, based on TurtleMe’s original 2017 web novel, debuted on Tapas in July 2018 with illustrations by Fuyuki23. Rise Entertainment took over the artwork starting with the sixth season in June 2023. Published in Japan by Piccoma since 2020, the series is set to continue with the premiere of its seventh season on March 12.
Yen Press licensed the webtoon in English in 2021 and released the tenth volume on February 24. The 11th volume scheduled to go on sale on August 25.
