Voice actors Miyu Irino (Fate/Zero) and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Boku no Hero Academia) are joining the cast as Koutarou Yanagi and Noboru Kureha, respectively.
Seung Uk Woo (Claymore episode director) is directing the anime and handling the series composition at Studio Eek. Hyun Joung Lee is designing the characters, and Ju Young Kim is composing the music.
Jiksong originally began the action fantasy series as a web novel on KakaoPage from November 2016 to May 2018.
3B2S illustrated the webtoon adaptation, which began serialization on KakaoPage in June 2019. The webtoon’s first season concluded in January 2023, followed by the second season from February to March 2023. The 16th volume went on sale on December 18 last year.
Yen Press licensed the webtoon in English in November 2022. The 13th volume was published in December 2025, with the 14th volume set to release on April 21.
