The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Historie manga revealed the main cast, teaser visual (pictured right), and the first promotional video on Sunday. Produced by LIDENFILMS, the anime will premiere in January 2027.

Iwaaki (Kiseijuu) began serializing the historical adventure manga in Afternoon magazine in January 2003. Kodansha published the 12th volume in June 2024. Historie has a cumulative circulation of over 4.7 million copies.
