Save 13% on one collector booster from Magic’s newest set

Magic: The Gathering’s Secrets of Strixhaven set is finally here, and if you missed out on prerelease (mine was sold out and turning people away), then Draft Night might be the next best thing.

This boxed product includes a series of Play Boosters and a stack of 90 basic lands to let you play a four-player sealed match with your friends. With a Collector Booster included, it might just be one of the easier ways to get hold of one of the pricey packs with a discount from Amazon.

The retailer is offering the box for $89.99, marking a price drop of 13%. Given that the set launches officially today, we’d expect it to be popular in the coming days.

Draft Night uses the “Pick Two” format, whereby players select two cards from a pack and pass, eventually having enough cards to build a 40-card deck (with a little help from the 90 included lands).

The prize for your efforts, should you come out on top, is that all-important Collector Booster. Given that those retail for around $38 on their own, you’re essentially getting 12 Play Boosters and the lands for around $50. That’s around $4.25 per pack.

Collector Boosters are also (sadly) much more likely to get you the set’s rarest cards, since they include all foil and alternate art treatments.

Not keen on the latest set? You can also save money on Draft Night boxes for Lorwyn Eclipsed (down to $88.94) or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ($95.51).
