Dungeon Crawler Carl Books Are Buy 2, Get 1 Free at Amazon Right Now

by Awais

Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series has become one of the most popular reads of 2026. With the release of the eighth novel this year there’s never been a better time to hop the DCC train and start reading. That’s especially true if you’re hoping to read actual physical copies of the books.

Amazon is currently running a ‘3 for 2’ sale on a bunch of books ahead of Prime Day next week and every title in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series is included. These promotions are generally the best time to buy books and this one in particular is arguably the best time to build your own Dungeon Crawler Carl collection. Even the graphic novel is part of this sale!

Buy 2, Get 1 Free on Dungeon Crawler Carl Books

Dungeon Crawler Carl is one of the few LitRPG series that have gotten actual physical releases. Mass market print editions of the first book didn’t even start hitting shelves until 2024. Flash forward to 2026 and we have the latest release, A Parade of Horribles, arriving as a hardcover and a Kindle edition on day one of its release.

There are quite a few different ways to read the Dungeon Crawler Carl books, but if you’re looking for actual physical copies these types of Amazon sales are worth jumping on. The one downside of this particular sale is that every book included is hardcover edition except the first book, which is a paperback. So if you buy all eight books with the 3 for 2 discount, you’ll have a bit of a mismatched set.

If you just want to read the books as cheaply as possible, I’d recommend utilizing a Kindle Unlimited subscription. All of these books, including the latest release, are available with a subscription. Amazon is currently offering three months of the service for free to Prime members, but for new subscribers only. That’s plenty of time to read all of the books without paying anything, though.

Amazon’s Audible deal is great for the audiobook versions

New and Return Subscribers

3 Months of Audible Standard for $0.99/mo

The popularity of Dungeon Crawler Carl is, in part, thanks to some absolutely terrific audiobooks. Matt Dinniman himself has praised Jeff Hays’s performance, saying he’s one of the few narrators out there doing all of the voices and sound effects that really bring audiobooks to life. And the DCC audio versions are undoubtedly some of the best audiobooks available right now.

If you’re new to the series, or just want to see what the audiobook hype is about, Amazon is running an Audible promo that’s worth checking out. New subscribers can get the Audible Standard plan for only $0.99/month for the first three months, which includes one book per month.
