Mutsuhana wrote the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website from April 2019 to March 2020. Futabasha published the series under its M Novels f imprint with illustrations by vient in two volumes in October 2019 and March 2020. The series has a cumulative over 1 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Misato Kamada began drawing a manga adaptation on the Flos Comic web magazine in August 2020. The sixth volume went on sale on February 5.
Cross Infinite World licensed the light novel digitally in English and released the second and final volume in January 2021. Yen Press licensed the manga in English and published the fifth volume on January 20.
