All characters in Vampire Survivors

Every character in Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors has unique abilities that’ll greatly impact your playstyle. Add armor, increase area, boost damage… Undoubtedly, you’ll find the perfect companion for your dungeon crawls among their ranks. The trouble, of course, is to unlock them, as you will start the game with only one character.

Here’s an overview of all characters in Vampire Crawlers and how to unlock them, plus their starting cards and abilities.

All characters in Vampire Survivors

Vampire Crawlers contains 22 characters. There are two steps to obtaining new characters: First, you must discover them, and then you can recruit them at the Inn in the Village. Recruiting new characters requires a certain amount of coins. You only need to purchase a character once; whenever you’re back at the Inn (after a dungeon crawl), you can swap between your unlocked characters at no additional cost.

Some Vampire Crawlers characters are hidden inside coffins. Here’s what such a coffin (and its map marker) looks like:

Beware that a character’s recruitment cost increases as you unlock more characters. If you purchase Pasqualina as your third character (following Antonio and Imelda), she will cost 110 coins, but if you purchase Gennaro first, Pasqualina will cost 120 coins. Likewise, Gennaro will cost 550 or 700 coins based on whether he’s your third or fourth purchase. But although their exact price varies depending on your purchase order, as a general rule, late-game characters are still costlier than early-game characters.

Here’s a list of all Vampire Crawlers characters, their abilities, and how to recruit them.

Gennaro Belpaese	Add 2 amount when played. Deal 60 damage when a red card is played.		Defeat the Mantichana in the Mad Forest. In other words, clear the first dungeon.
Arca Ladonna	Add 3 mana when played. Add 1 mana when a purple card is played.	Fire Wand x2 Empty Tome Armor	Play the Fire Wand card 100 times.
Porta Ladonna	Add 25 area when played. Add 1 mana when a red card is played.	Lightning Ring Empty Tome Armor Candelabrador	Play the Lightning Ring card 100 times.

O’Sole Meeo	Add 3 amount when played. Add 5 luck when a red card is played.	Celestial Dusting x2 Empty Tome Armor	Defeat 50 Dragon Shrimps in Gallo Tower.
Mortaccio	Add 2 amount when played. Add 1 amount when a blue card is played.		Defeat 444 Skeletons in total.
Bianca Ramba	Add 3 amount when played. Add 1 amount when a purple card is played.	Carrello Empty Tome Armor	Defeat the Milk Elemental. In other words, clear the Dairy Plant.
Suor Clerici	Heal 3 when played. Heal 1 after an encounter where a blue card is played.	Santa Water Empty Tome Duplicator Armor	Recover 1,000 HP in total.
Giovanna Grana	Add 20 luck when played. Draw one card when a purple card is played.	Gatti Amari x2 Empty Tome Armor	Find her coffin in the Library Sanctum.
Iguana Gallo Valletto	Gain 25% more coins when played. Gain 10% more coins when a wild card is played.	Clock Lancet Clover Empty Tome Armor	Defeat Gallo. In other words, clear Gallo Tower.
MissingN0	Add 4 armor when played. Draw two cards when a red card is played.		Defeat the Red Death, aka the seemingly unbeatable boss who appears at the end of each dungeon. In late game, it will eventually be possible to pull this off by reviving your character and dealing obscene amounts of damage.
