‘Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin! Ni!!’ Reveals Additional Cast, Theme Song, Second Promo

The official website of Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin! Ni!! (Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! Season 2) revealed additional cast, the theme song, and the second promotional video on Monday. The new season is scheduled to premiere on July 6 at 1:00 a.m. on BS11, followed by Tokyo MX.

Devonshire: Kaoru Sakura (Irodorimidori)

Dido: Ruriko Aoki (Megami no Café Terrace)

Golden Hind: Yuka Hinata

Liverpool: Mizuki Mano (Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Shiromadoushi, S-Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru)

New Jersey: Miyu Tomita (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai? Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen)

Shinano: Mamiko Noto (Kimi ni Todoke)

Zara: Atsumi Tanezaki (Sousou no Frieren)

J-Singer Miyuki Hashimoto (Walkure Romanze) will perform the theme song “Lu lu lun♪ ~Urahara Kibun wa Automatic~,” which is previewed in the second promotional video below.

Shunji Maki (Blue Archive the Animation assistant director[) is helming the second season at Studio CANDY BOX. Yuu Satou (Azur Lane: Bisoku Zenshin!) and Hotaru Asafuji (Blue Archive the Animation) are penning the script. Nana Mori (Dr. Stone: Stone Wars chief animation director) is designing the characters and serving as the chief animation director. Fuuga Hatori (Okusama ga Seitokaichou!) is composing the music.

Co-produced by Yostar Pictures and CANDY BOX, the first season adapting Hori’s slice of life spin-off manga aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2021. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with multiple subtitles.

Hori began posting the 4-koma manga through Azur Lane‘s official X (formerly Twitter) account in April 2018. Ichijinsha published the fourth volume in September 2023.
