Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka began serializing the manga in good! Afternoon magazine in April 2014. Kodansha published the 25th volume in October 2025, with the 26th volume planned for an April 7 release. Grand Blue has a cumulative 10 million copies of its volumes in print.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2017 and released the 23rd volume in December 2025.
