Uzuki began serializing the shoujo romance manga in April 2023 in Kodansha’s magazine Dessert, and the seventh volume shipped on June 12. Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo has reached 2.25 million copies in circulation worldwide.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in March 2024 and released the fourth volume in December 2025. The fifth volume is scheduled for release on June 23.
Koiseyo Mayakashi Tenshi-domo ranked 18th in the 2024 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! Female readers division, climbing to fifth in 2025, and placed 15th in 2026. The series won the 49th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shoujo category in 2025 and was nominated for the 71st Shogakukan Manga Award.
Synopsis
First-year class president, Otogi Katsura, assumes the role of a pristine and gracious girl with pride. Ever since she was a child, she knew what people expected of a beauty such as herself, and she upholds this virtuous image without fail. The only person to rival Katsura, both in appearance and charm, is her vice president, Toki Ninomae. On top of that, his impeccable manners make him the perfect match for her as the school’s madonna—in her opinion at least.
Though it appears impossible to prove, Katsura is confident that Ninomae wears a mask just like she does. Her suspicions are soon confirmed when she accidentally exposes her sharp-tongued side, and, encouraged by her boldness, Ninomae follows suit to reveal his brusque and cool nature.
