Voice actors Shinnosuke Tokudome (Karaoke Iko!) and Shuuichirou Umeda (Senpai wa Otokonoko) are starring as Tsubaki Sawashiro and Yuu Shimizu, respectively.
Noriko Hashimoto (Given Movie 2) is directing the anime, with Yuniko Ayana (Katsute Mahou Shoujo to Aku wa Tekitai shiteita.) handling the series composition.
Nakayama (Blend S) originally began the manga on their X (formerly Twitter) and Pixiv accounts in August 2020. Square Enix began serializing the title under its Gangan BLiss label on the Comic CMOA website in September 2021. Square Enix published the fifth volume in March 2025, and the sixth volume is scheduled for release on March 21. The manga is also available on Renta!, eBookJapan, BookLive, and Manga UP!
