Masashi Koizuka (Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2) is directing the anime at WIT Studio, with Hideaki Abe (Jujutsu Kaisen episode director) is serving as assistant director. Taku Kishimoto (Ousama Ranking) is handling the series composition. Kyouji Asano (Psycho-Pass) and Takatoshi Honda (Kyokou Suiri) are designing the characters and credited as chief animation director.
The anime adapts Eiichiro Oda’s adventure fantasy manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine in July 1997. Shueisha published the 114th volume on March 4, with the 115th volume scheduled for released on July 3.
VIZ Media publishes the manga in English and released the 111th volume on March 10. The 112th volume is scheduled to go on sale on July 7.
