Voice actors Yukari Tamura (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) and Kanehira Yamamoto (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) are joining the cast as Sheila and Tori, respectively.
Atsushi Nigorikawa (Aru Majo ga Shinu Made) is directing the anime at EMT Squared, with Takashi Aoshima (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan) handling the series composition. Izumi Ishii is designing the characters. Kana Utatane (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi) is composing the music.
Yoneori began penning the fantasy gourmet novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2019. Kadokawa began publishing the novel under its Kadokawa Books imprint, featuring illustrations by Akane Nitou in April 2020. The sixth volume was released in May 2024.
Nana Kogami began drawing the manga adaptation on B’s Log Comic in September 2020. The fourth volume went on sale in May 2025.
