Discounts on LEGO’s expert-grade Technic motorcycles are uncommon, but there’s one such deal available right now during Prime Day. Amazon has dropped the price of the LEGO Technic Yamaha MT-10 SP Motorcycle 42159 to just $167.99, with free shipping, after a 30% instant discount. That brings the price down to 11.3 cents per brick, which is about as good as it gets for a higher-end Technic motorcycle set. Note that the this LEGO set (42159) was retired in late 2025 and Amazon is just burning off remaining inventory.

The LEGO Yamaha MT-10 SP is a 1:5 scale replica of its real-life, hyper-naked counterpart. It measures 17.5 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and 9.5 inches tall, and is comprised of 1,478 bricks. Although the brick count isn’t exceptionally high, this is a challenging build intended for adults, like most expert-grade Technic vehicle sets. It’s especially gear-heavy, which requires even more finesse to get all of the moving parts working smoothly.
There are a lot of small touches for any Yamaha or motorcyle fan. Hyper-naked motorcycles are stripped down variants with a lot of their mechanical components exposed, like the 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission and functional dual suspension and steering. Gearbox elements include a shift drum, a shift fork, a gear shift ring and a ratchet drum. I think the blue spoked rims are a slick touch (the color is hard to find amongst LEGO sets). The finished set piece looks impressive and the scale complements the other 18+ Technic motorcycles, which currently cost significantly more money.
