Voice actors Gen Satou (Übel Blatt) and Shinnosuke Tokudome (Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru?) are joining the cast as Ryuu Sazame and Mizuka Awatama, respectively.
Japanese boy-band THE JET BOY BANGERZ is performing the opening theme “BUDDING,” and WOLF HOWL HARMONY is performing the ending theme “Koko ni Iru.”
Toshifumi Kawase (Raise wa Tanin ga Ii) is helming the anime at Studio Deen. Keiichirou Oochi (Mononogatari) is handling the series composition. Atsuko Nakajima (Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.) is designing the characters, while Yoshiaki Dewa (Jigokuraku) and Toru Ishitsuka (Kuro no Su: Chronus) are composing the music.
Shiibashi began the manga as a one-shot in Shounen Jump+ web magazine in March 2020 before it began regular serialization in Ultra Jump in February 2021. Shueisha published the 13th volume on January 19, with the 14th volume scheduled to release on July 17.
