Magic: The Gathering’s first two sets of 2026, Lorwyn Eclipsed and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, will give way to the new Secrets of Strixhaven set this month, but ahead of the changeover, there are discounts to be had on Commander precons.
To date, there have been three precons released this year: Two from Lorwyn Eclipsed and the Turtle Power precon from TMNT, and right now, they’re all on sale to varying degrees.
We’ll start with Turtle Power. It felt strange that we just got the one precon for the latest trip to NYC in Universes Beyond, but this five-color deck is pretty great as a jumping-off point that you can relatively easily reassemble in different ways. It would normally cost you $69.99 (which felt steep even at launch), but now it’s down to a slightly more palatable $59.99 on Amazon.
Onto Lorwyn Eclipsed, then, and there are savings to be had on both Blight Curse and Dance of the Elements, as well as a bundle that includes two versions of each for you and a friend.
I’ve been playing a ton with Blight Curse recently and am having an absolute blast with it, utilizing its -1/-1 counter strategy to wither away big foes and, with Reaper, King No More as my Commander, even stealing them to my side of the table. The deck is now $38.45, marking a 23% discount at Amazon.
That deck’s counterpart, Dance of the Elements, is a much more colorful five-color deck that’s all about cheating big elemental creatures into play, or using the myriad keyword to strike multiple foes at once with Mass of Mysteries. The deck is seeing a 30% price drop at Amazon, making it just $35.10.
It’s worth noting that none of these decks include the Collector Booster Sample pack, which has seemingly been phased out in 2026 – boo! Still, if you’re keen on both Lorwyn precons, you can grab a bundle that includes two copies of Dance of the Elements and Blight Curse for $120.67.
That’s a 40% price drop and means you and a friend can own both decks for a combined $60, or $30 per deck.
