You can save $20 on this bundle before May 9
Regardless of how you feel about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, it’s interesting that Nintendo hasn’t released a new Mario title to coincide with its release (we’re not quite counting the Super Mario Wonder Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade). Still, if you’ve been caught by Mushroom Kingdom Mania and haven’t yet picked up a Switch 2, there is a rare deal on Nintendo’s latest system that could save you a few bucks.
Over at Amazon, you can save $20 from April 12 to May 9 when buying a Switch 2 bundle that includes the physical and digital versions of Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The $20 savings is also available from Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart, both in-store and online. As someone who missed the original releases of both Mario Galaxy games, I’ve been having an absolute blast playing through them on Switch 2 with my son. It’s also nice to be able to enjoy price parity for Switch 2’s physical and digital versions, at least for now.
Of course, you’re also getting the Switch 2 console, which is one we’ve been particularly impressed by. It’s also worth noting that the system is in for a big first full year on the market in 2026. We’ve already been enjoying the hell out of Pokémon Pokopia, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is just weeks away, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will likely be an incredible technical feat on the console, and there’s plenty more to come. Buy for the Mario classics, stay for The Duskbloods, is what we’re saying.
