Lego’s first set based on KPop Demon Hunters is finally here and available for pre-order, The Lego Group and Netflix announced Monday. The debut set is based on the Saja Boys’ messengers, Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird, and will officially be released in August.
The Lego KPop Demon Hunters – Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set is built from 825 Lego bricks, and was designed to capture some “key behaviours from the movie for fans to discover,” according to Lego. The Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set will include “different expressions, striking poses, accessories, and adjustable features” to make the model feel “dynamic,” the company says.
Lego says the new KPop Demon Hunters-inspired set was “designed in record time from brief to final model.” KPop Demon Hunters was released on Netflix on June 20, 2025, and that kind of turnaround time seems impressive, based on the design, manufacturing, and approvals required for something of this magnitude. But this is just the beginning of Lego and Netflix’s plans for KPop Demon Hunters: Additional Lego sets are already planned for release in 2027.
Derpy can be built with two expressions: One that shows off the blue tiger’s one-functioning-brain-cell grin and another that shows him delivering a note on his outstretched tongue. Included in the set are two love notes and a flowerpot for Derpy to knock over (or struggle to set upright). Accessories can be stored in a secret compartment in the back of Derpy’s head. Sussie the magpie can be attached to Derpy’s noggin or displayed separately.
The Lego KPop Demon Hunters – Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird set measures 8.5 in. (21 cm) high, 6 in. (15 cm long), and 6 in. (15 cm) wide when Sussie is standing on Derpy’s head.
Lego’s first KPop Demon Hunters set is up for pre-order now at Lego.com and ships on Aug. 1. The set costs $69.99.
Since debuting last June, KPop Demon Hunters has surpassed 500 million views on Netflix, while its soundtrack has seen its own musical success: Huntr/x became the first K-pop girl group to hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, while “Golden” made history as the first K-pop song to win a Grammy Award. While KPop Demon Hunters has fallen out of the U.S. top 10 movies on Netflix, it remains a massive global hit: The animated feature has spent 51 straight weeks in Netflix’s global Top 10. This week alone, it has amassed 3.7 million views and remains a top 10 hit in eight countries.
A second KPop Demon Hunters movie is now in the works, as is a slew of merchandise from toymakers like Lego, Hasbro, and Mattel.
Netflix is planning a big blowout for KPop Demon Hunters‘ first anniversary, including a theatrical rerelease, free outdoor screenings, and the film’s award-winning soundtrack on vinyl and CD.
