Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai) is helming the anime at Felix Film. Deko Akao (Unnamed Memory) is handling the series composition. Satomi Kurita (Princess Connect! Re:Dive) is designing the characters, while Kenichiro Suehiro (Goblin Slayer) is composing the music.
Touya began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2019. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the novel with illustrations by chibi in June 2019 and released the 12th volume on January 15.
Mahito Aobe began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star web magazine in December 2019. Earth Star Entertainment shipped the 13th volume in October 2025.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the light novel and manga for English release in September 2020 and published the ninth novel volume in December 2025, with the tenth volume planned for a May 19 release. The tenth manga volume went on sale in November 2025, with the 11th volume scheduled to be released on May 5.
