J-rock band ZUTOMAYO (Dandadan) is performing the opening theme and imase (Kimi ni Todoke 3rd Season) performs the ending theme “Fiction.” The ending theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Jinushi began drawing the romantic comedy manga on their X (formerly Twitter) account in March 2022 before beginning serialization in Monthly Big Gangan in August that year. Square Enix published the eighth volume on January 23.
Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga in English in July 2023. The sixth volume went on sale on January 20, with the seventh volume planned for a July 7 release. The manga is also available on Manga UP! And Comikey.
