Kenichi Imaizumi (Katekyou Hitman Reborn!) is helming the anime at animation studio42. Kunihiko Okada (Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru) is handling the series composition and Keiichi Tsuboyamais designing the characters.
Fuurou began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2018. Earth Star Entertainment began publishing the novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by Kinta in October 2018 and published the 14th volume in September 2025. Ryoumin 0-nin Start no Henkyou Ryoushu-sama has a cumulative 2.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Yumbo began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Earth☆Star website in December 2018. Earth Star Entertainment published the 14th volume on January 9.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga adaptation for digital release in English in September 2023 and July 2023, respectively. The 12th novel volume went on sale on February 6, with the 12th manga volume released on February 18.
