‘Nippon Sangoku’ Unveils Additional Cast, Ending Theme, Third Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ikka Matsuki’s Nippon Sangoku manga unveiled additional cast, a special visual (pictured), the ending theme, and third promotional video on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 7 at 12:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX and BS Nippon TV, followed by TV Aichi, Yomiuri TV, and other stations.

Miyakichi Hei: Kenyuu Horiuchi (Dorohedoro)

Nagao Taketo: Shuuichirou Umeda (Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu)

Kura Akii: Shunsuke Sakuya (Zankyou no Terror)

Hirano Tsugumi: Ayumu Murase (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun)

Singer-songwriter Leina is performing the ending theme “Chikai,” previewed in the promotional video below.

Kazuaki Terasawa (Mahoutsukai no Yome Season 2) is directing the anime at Studio Kafka, with Teruko Utsumi (Seihantai na Kimi to Boku) handling the series composition. Takahiko Abiru (Vinland Saga) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Kevin Penkin (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari) is composing the music.

Matsuki began serializing the post-apocalyptic drama manga on the MangaONE app and website in November 2021. Shogakukan published the sixth volume in November 2024.
