Voice actor Yuusuke Kobayashi (Nihon e Youkoso Elf-san.) is starring in the anime as Bard Cornelius.
Takami began penning the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in 2013. AlphaPolis began publishing the novel with illustrations by Ririnra (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko) in March 2014 and published the 14th and final volume in March 2019. Isekai Tensei Soudouki has a cumulative 1.15 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Honoji began drawing a manga adaptation on AlphaPolis’ official website in May 2015. AlphaPolis published the 13th volume in October 2024, with the 14th volume scheduled for release on March 16.
One Peace Books licensed the manga for English release in March 2020 and published the ninth volume in March 2024.
The novel won AlphaPolis’s sixth Fantasy Novel Grand Prize in 2013.
