The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yosuke Kaneda’s Kuroneko to Majo no Kyoushitsu (The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch) manga revealed supporting cast and the second main promotional video on Sunday. The anime is scheduled to premiere for two consecutive cours at 11:30 p.m. on CBC and TBS’ 28 broadcasting stations, followed by AT-X and BS12 on April 12.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo) is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. Midori Gotou (Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san) is handling the series composition. Takayuki Onoda (Hortensia Saga) is designing the characters, while R・O・N (Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu) is composing the music,
Kaneda began serializing the fantasy manga on the Magazine pocket website in March 2022. Kodansha published the 13th volume in December 2025 and will release the 14th volume on March 9.
Kodansha began simulpublishing the manga in English on its K Manga service as The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch in May 2023.
