‘”Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai” to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai shitekimasu’ Reveals Additional Cast Pair

The “Kimi wo Aisuru Ki wa Nai” to Itta Jiki Koushaku-sama ga Nazeka Dekiai shitekimasu (The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me yet Showers Me with Adoration) AnimeJapan 2026 special stage at the DMM TV booth revealed an additional cast pair on Sunday.

The anime adapting Kei Misawa and Natsu Mizuno’s fantasy romance manga will premiere on TV Asahi and BS Asahi in July 2026.

Voice actors Kaito Ishikawa (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon) and Chika Anzai (Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun) are joining the cast as Yarmo Pernila and Serafina Pernila, respectively.

Hitoyuki Matsui (Karakuri Zoushi Ayatsuri Sakon) is directing the anime at Zero-G and Grass. Tomoko Konparu (Kimi ni Todoke) is handling the series composition, and Yuuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) is designing the characters. Michiru (Given) is composing the music.

Misawa and Mizuno began serializing the fantasy romance manga on the BookLive web service in February 2021. Flex Comix published the fifth volume on March 13. The manga is also available in English on the MangaPlaza web service. A novel adaptation launched on BookLive in October 2021.
