Season 3 introduces the Lost Outpost event to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This new event tasks you with collecting beacons and trading them for care package rewards. In this guide, we’ll explain how the Lost Outpost event works and how to earn all the rewards, including an operator skin for Samuels, the season’s new sniper rifle, a shotgun weapon blueprint, and plenty of double XP tokens.
Content-wise, Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone includes a brand-new battle pass, more maps, and additional game modes. Standard battle royale arrives to Warzone’s Avalon map, and Verdansk gets a new major POI added.
How to participate in the Lost Outpost event
You can participate in Call of Duty’s Lost Outpost event across the multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and Warzone modes.
You need to collect beacons dropped from eliminated enemies. Then, you can head to the event tab for the Lost Outpost and exchange them for care package rewards. Care packages can be purchased with beacons at three different tiers, costing either five, 10, or 20 beacons each. Each tier of care packages will offer you a random reward from that specific reward tier. Grinding the game and purchasing all of the care packages until you unlock all of the rewards will earn you a final “Mastery” reward.
You will need to collect 290 beacons total to complete the event and earn the “Terminal” animated weapon camo Mastery reward.
Tips for completing the Lost Outpost event
Beacons are randomly dropped by eliminated enemies, including the undead in Zombies modes. They are also random drops from Warzone’s supply crates and a guaranteed drop from the legendary orange crates.
You can complete the event by playing any mode you enjoy, but the fastest method seems to be collecting beacons by playing Warzone’s Casual Resurgence. Open as many orange supply boxes as you can and eliminate players to rack up plenty of beacons each match.
