Hands Over Announced for PC

by Awais

Hands Over is a new multiplayer horror party game that takes some of your favorite childhood mini-games and gives them a deadly twist. It’s in development for PC from Artdock.

The team behind it describes it as such: “One round might ask you to press your luck with a mechanical jaw. Another puts your face in front of a device that could snap at any moment. Another gives you a few seconds to memorize a sequence before the machine checks your mistakes. The rules are simple enough to understand immediately, but the hard part is staying calm while everyone else is watching, waiting, and trying to make your next move worse.

“Between turns, players can use influence cards to change the odds, mess with opponents, protect themselves, or set up traps. A safe-looking move can suddenly become a disaster, and every decision raises the same question: are you playing carefully, bluffing, or walking into someone else’s plan?”

“Hands Over started with the feeling of taking something harmless and making it deeply uncomfortable,” said game designer Grigory. “We wanted players to recognize the games immediately, laugh at first, and then realize they are genuinely afraid to take their turn. The mechanics are simple, but the tension between players is what makes every round feel dangerous.”
