The official website of the Doko yori mo Tooi Basho ni Iru Kimi e (To You in the Beyond) movie revealed the main cast, additional staff, a teaser visual (pictured right), and a second teaser trailer on Sunday. The anime movie adapting Akiko Abe’s mystery romance novel will premiere in theaters in Japan on October 9.

Abe wrote the novel under Shueisha’s Orange Bunko imprint in October 2017, featuring illustrations by syo5.
Haruka Chino began drawing a manga adaptation in Tonari no Young Jump magazine in August 2025. The first volume went on sale on February 19.
