The Scorchflame armor in Crimson Desert is a gorgeous set that brings more than just looks to the table. Most pieces of this armor come with fire resistance, which makes Scorchflame one of the best gear when facing enemies with fire-based attacks.
However, the real star of the set is the Scorchflame plate gloves. They come with the powerful Volcanic Eruption abyss gear, allowing your embedded attacks to shatter a molten boulder to hit nearby enemies. To complete the set, you need to find all five parts. Luckily, they’re all near Hernandian territory, which makes this armor a great mid-game option.
Below, we explain how to get the Scorchflame armor in Crimson Desert, showing the location of each piece.
How to get the Scorchflame armor in Crimson Desert
All five pieces of the Scorchflame armor are in Demeniss, a region where there are many hostile patrolling soldiers. Do not underestimate these enemies as their numbers can quickly escalate from five to 20. In any case, be sure to prepare some food and your best gear.
Two of the pieces are hidden behind waterfalls that you must Stab skill through, so make sure you have it unlocked. If you try to get through by regular means, the water will damage your character and push you away. There are other occasions where you will need this skill to solve puzzles, so it’s a good skill to have either way.
Scorchflame gloves location in Crimson Desert
The Scorchflame gloves are inside a chest in the Twilight Grotto, a hidden cave on the west side of the Demeniss. To get there, head northwest from the “D” in the “Demeniss” map text. A bit south of Hills of no Return, you will find two waterfalls. Jump down to the bottom and head to the waterfall on the northeast. You’ll know you’re in front of the right waterfall when you see a stack of rocks. Use the Stab skill to cross the water and find the chest.

From the entrance to the Twilight Grotto, which is where you find the gloves, look south to find a cave opening. Swim your way inside and turn left to enter the Silent Falls Hideout. Right in the first room, a pile of stones turns into the Grave Walker, a mini-boss. The secret to defeating it is to stagger it, so its parts fall apart, and it takes more damage. The Grave Walker is extremely slow, giving you enough time to avoid its attacks. Defeating the boss is not mandatory, but it’s better to explore the room without a giant golem trying to kill you.
Your next step is to climb the southeast wall. Once you reach the highest part of the wall, press Q or L2/LT to hold onto the wall and use Force Palm. The wall will rotate and take you to a hidden room with a chest containing the Scorchflame plate cloak.

To the northwest of Reventine Monastery in Demeniss, there’s the Cascade Grotto. This is another cave hidden behind a waterfall. To enter, climb up to a ridge near the bottom of the waterfall, where you’ll find another pile of stones. Once again, use the Stab skill to enter the Cascade Grotto and collect the boots from the chest.
Scorchflame plate helm location in Crimson Desert
The Scorchflame plate helm is located inside the tall building that resembles a small tower on the western side of Stonewell Farm, which is northwest of the “D” in the “Demeniss” text on the map. The chest containing the helm is at the top floor, which you can access by either climbing the ladder inside of it, or you can jump onto the small balcony from the building beside the tower. Depending on where you are in the campaign, this location might be overrun with Bastier’s Inquisitors, but you don’t need to defeat them to get this item.

The final piece of the Scorchflame set, the plate armor, is inside a compartment below the Golden Trading Post in Demeniss. This location is east of Stonewell Farm and north of the first “E” in the “Demeniss” text on the map. In the Golden Trading Post, take the middle road. At its west end, you will find two flights of stairs with a wooden door between them. To open the door, crouch and push it. Inside, you’ll find a chest with the Scorchflame plate armor.
