Season schedule and how seasons work in Forza Horizon 6

by Awais

As a new season comes in Forza Horizon 6, it affects your experience and no race feels the same. You may drive along a track marked by cherry blossom trees during the spring, while the sides of Tokyo City streets are covered with snow in winter.

However, a new season means much more than just visual changes to Forza Horizon 6‘s gorgeous scenery — with every season, you have the chance to participate in new activities and earn new rewards. Below you’ll find all you need to know about how seasons work in Forza Horizon 6 and when the weekly reset happens.

Forza Horizon 6 season schedule

The seasonal rotation will begin when the general access period starts on May 21. Here’s the first day of each upcoming season:

  • May 21: Summer
  • May 28: Autumn
  • June 4: Winter
  • June 11: Spring

You can’t force a season change in the Forza Horizon 6. If you’d like to enjoy a race with a different scenario, you can set up a custom race and select the season in which it takes place. Doing so does not affect the in-game season rotation.

When a season is about to start, a countdown appears at the top of the screen showing how long until the change. Once the timer reaches zero, the game reloads.

Forza Horizon 6‘s system follows a weekly rotation that swaps the in-game season every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. EDT. Here’s what this looks like in other time zones:

  • 7:30 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
  • 10:30 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
  • 11:30 a.m. BRT for Brazil
  • 3:30 p.m. BST for the U.K.
  • 4:30 p.m. CEST for western Europe
  • 11:30 p.m. JST for Japan
  • 12:30 a.m. AEST on Friday for the east coast of Australia

How seasons work in Forza Horizon 6

In Forza Horizon 6, as seasons change, they bring aesthetic and terrain changes to the game. However, they also add events and challenges that reward you with cars, cosmetics, and credits. Although no extreme changes occur in the map’s design during seasons, you will find a rather different map whenever a new season begins. Below, you can see a preview of what spring, summer, autumn, and winter look like on the map.
