Supporting Cast for ‘Liar Game’ Announced

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shinobu Kaitani’s Liar Game manga announces supporting cast and a key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by BS TV Tokyo on April 7.

Asami Kawano (Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu assistant director) is directing the anime at Madhouse. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Ookami to Koushinryou: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf) handling the series composition and script, while Kei Tsuchiya (Hakozume: Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu) is designing the characters. Yuugo Kanno (Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited) is composing the music.

Kaitani serialized the psychological manga in Young Jump from February 2005 to January 2015. Shueisha published the 19th and final volume in April 2015.

Shueisha published an anthology manga titled Liar Game: Roots of A from September 1999 to January 2004, and also published a one-shot sequel in February 2010.
